Our Story:

La Poutine was born from a love of Canada’s most iconic dish. After traveling coast to coast sampling poutines, Lindsey and Francis set out to create their own unique spin—a place where poutine wasn’t just a side dish, but the star of the show.

In 2011, La Poutine opened its doors with a simple mission: to serve up the best, most creative poutines in Edmonton. Whether you're a purist, vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free, we’ve got something for you. Our menu is a playground for bold flavors, inspired by global cuisines, food trends, and a little bit of craziness.

Since then, La Poutine has been repeatedly voted Best Poutine in YEG and even ranked 5th Best in Canada. Not bad, eh?

Raising the Bar:

Great poutine starts with great ingredients. That’s why we use locally grown potatoes, hand-cut and double-fry our fries to crispy perfection, and make our sauces from scratch. We source authentic cheese curds straight from Quebec, ensuring that signature squeaky bite in every order.
